About Us

McBrides Landscaping Services was established in Perth in 1987 later relocating to Kalgoorlie-Boulder in 1999. Through liaising with our landscape clients it was soon apparent that there was a need in Kalgoorlie-Boulder for informative horticultural advice. After many years of anticipation and planning, McBrides Garden Centre was created and we opened the doors in May 2005.

We are an independent Garden Centre, owner operated by husband and wife Darren & Sally McBride and their team.Darren McBride has an extensive knowledge of the horticultural industry, gained from his 31 years within the horticultural industry.

Darren's trade certificate in horticulture was completed in 1984 at Wildflower Nursery where he specialised in native flora. Since the completion of his trade certificate his horticultural career has involved many challenging and varied roles within the horticultural industry, including managerial positions in both wholesale and retail nurseries. Darren has also lecturered students in horticulture at Bentley Tafe & Curtin University covering courses such as landscape concepts and irrigation, won LIN Landscaping Awards of Excellence and has recently furthered his knowledge by obtaining his Advanced Diploma in Horticulture from Curtin University. Darren's qualifications and experience are complimented by Sally's many years of hands on experience.

Darren has the ability to pass on information in an easy to follow informative manner that customers and staff enjoy and find easy to comprehend. He has also built a strong working relationship with all of our suppliers ensuring our stock is of the best quality.

Our Garden Centre offers a large range of outdoor plant varieties, indoor and shade plants, an extensive range of potting mixes and hardware lines and exclusive ranges of water features, pottery and giftware.

McBrides Landscaping Services specialises in both residential and commercial landscaping projects.
